The Middle East is an area where vehicle is king and fuel is cheap, typically leaving little reward to discover more environmentally-friendly ways of moving.
But this year, as demonstrations throughout the Middle East have actually pressed up the rate of oil, the problem of discovering alternative sources of fuel has entered into sharp focus.
In an area that has one of the highest carbon footprints in the world, one service is benefiting from the growing pressure to discover options to oil. It's set up the Middle East's very first scheme to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's showing lucrative too, already their client-list consists of McDonald's.
